Simhadriya Simha

Review
Director S.Narayan has put in alot of effort to make a flawless entertainer. But the comedy track is not particularly funny. Otherwise high standard has been maintained by all the departments. Vishnuvardhan has left a lasting impression in his three roles - the awe inspiring Narasimha, the calm and composed Gowda and the fun loving Chikka. He has made each role distinct. Meena is charming and Bhanupriya is good in her emotional role. Shobaraj has given a strong performance. Deva has come out with four lovely tunes. The cinematographer Ramesh Babu has captured the exotic locations beautifully.
Producer : Smt Prabhavathi Vijayakumar

Story Line
Narasimha Gowda (Vishnuvardhan) is a man with the strength of a lion. He is a perfect head of 48 villages. Guilty is always punished. The power and strength of Simhadri village is such that the police have no entry. A major disaster happens in the large family when one of the relatives rapes an innocent girl. Narasimha Gowda passes judgment against the culprit Shobaraj. Shobaraj's father kills Narasimha Gowda for such a harsh judgment. After eighteen years Simhadriya Simha's family faces a similar situation due to a misunderstanding. Gowda (Vishnuvardhan again) comes to the throne to pass a judgment for an alleged charge levelled against his brother Chikka (Yet again Vishnuvardhan). Chikka is sent out from the village for 10 years but soon Shobraj's shady deal is unearthed by his own mother. Chikka re-enters the family and it is time for the climax.
